Over the weekend, I finally got a chance to sit down and watch Terry Gilliam’s most recent feature film, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. As a HUGE Gilliam fan (Brazil, Time Bandits, 12 Monkeys, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, plus MONTY PYTHON), he has directed and written many of my all time favorite movies. Imaginarium was another piece of incredible eye candy, as his visuals were top notch as usual.

With Gilliam fresh on the brain, imagine my surprise when some news about Arcade Fire’s upcoming webcast started popping up all over my RSS reader. Turns out he will be directing Arcade Fire’s August 5 webcast from Madison Square Garden in NYC. If this news from Entertainment Weekly, among many others, is correct… it should be a doozy!
