Although the name Neil Hannon is definitely not a household name here in the US, his music is truly something special. He is about to release his tenth Divine Comedy album, Bang Goes The Knighthood, on his own Divine Comedy Records. It is pretty safe to assume that this will be a UK only release, so purchasing an import online will be the way to go. His distinct brand of intelligent orchestral pop is something I absolutely love, so do yourself a favor and keep an eye out for this record. In fact, if you’re unfamiliar with The Divine Comedy, pick up Regeneration or Victory For The Comic Muse. The new album will be released on May 31, which is both written and produced by Neil himself.
