Okay, so now that the holidays are upon us, things are most likely winding down for you at the office. You may have a little more time to kill until your vacation kicks in, so how about a pretty cool little timewaste website? The people at Neatorama have compiled a list of their top online games, which should keep you more than occupied. Right now we’re checking out the interactive Jackson Pollock canvas, where you can make your own painting. Pretty cool, just don’t blame us if you get caught goofing off at the job.

It should come as no surprise to many of you that I am a gigantic fan of the band Portishead. I’ve been following them since their debut release Dummy, and even snagged a random 12″ vinyl set of UNKLE tracks that featured a collaboration with Portishead. Yeah, I really dig them. The band took a long break after the release of their live album in 1998, finally returning in 2008 with their jawdroppingly amazing third studio album, which was even titled Third. Although they have been working in the studio on a new disc, we’ll just have to wait and see if and when it ever surfaces. Fingers crossed that it will be sooner than later.

A good sign about progress being made did appear recently, as the band has offered up a new song titled “Chase The Tear” (as in tearing paper, not tears from your eyes) to Amnesty International. The track was released today, which is International Human Rights Day, and is available for purchase at 7 Digital. All proceeds benefit Amnesty International. Portishead released a video to accompany the song, which you can check out below.

The holiday season is right around the corner, and that means finding the perfect something for the people on your list. While I am still on the hunt for a few of those people, I did happen to run across a cute way to tag the packages. Ohdeedoh put together some links around the web where you can print out your gift tags for free online, rather than buy some of those less-than-cute options that are in the stores.

Check them out!
