There is just something absolutely perfect about the combination of Fridays and the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. JSBX has always been a favorite of mine, with such awesome records as Orange, Now I Got Worry and the insanely killer Experimental Remixes EP. Concert etiquette is always an interesting discussion. When paying good money to attend a show, it can grate on your nerves when the people around you are more interested in chatting loudly rather than actually watching the show. But what happens when an unruly individual decides to bean the performer on the head with a beer bottle just minutes into a show? Well, if you are Morrissey, you simply stop the show and walk off stage. Concert over. No more Morrissey for you!

This unfortunately happened last weekend in Liverpool, just five minutes into his show. According to an article on The Guardian, Morrissey was hit on the head by a flying plastic beer bottle, which promptly ended the concert. It is a shame that he didn’t take a few minutes to calm down, have the beer thrower ejected from the audience, and then resumed the show… but hey… it is Morrissey. Gotta love him, but he is no stranger to canceling concerts at the drop of a hat. Or a beer bottle.

Okay… it is time to wipe the dust off the ol’ Dangerbird Blog and get this sucker up and running again! After going through several hundred spam comments, I think we’re back in action and ready to roll.
